In the role of Pricing Manager, your key responsibilities involve collaborating closely with category managers to formulate comprehensive category-level price strategies. This includes monitoring competitor pricing and making adjustments as needed to maintain competitiveness in the market. Analyzing customer behaviors and market trends will be essential to inform pricing decisions. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating targets and establishing performance benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Working collaboratively with category managers and the marketing team, you'll contribute to the development of a promotional calendar. In the pursuit of continuous improvement, you will lead the search for new software to enhance pricing processes. Managing and developing pricing databases and systems will be crucial to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for informed decision-making. Your role is pivotal in aligning pricing strategies with market dynamics, optimizing promotional efforts, and implementing efficient pricing tools and systems.

- Category Level Price Strategies: Collaborate with category managers to develop comprehensive price strategies at the category level.
- Competitor Pricing: Monitor competitor pricing closely and make necessary adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Market Analysis: Analyze customer behaviors and market trends to inform pricing decisions effectively.
- Performance Benchmarks and Targets: Establish performance benchmarks and create targets for assessing the success of pricing strategies.
- Software Enhancement: Lead the search for new software solutions to enhance and streamline pricing processes.
- Pricing Databases and Systems: Develop and maintain pricing databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field
- 7 years experience leading pricing and implementing pricing strategies for company products or services in order to drives sales within category while also analyzing company costs, industry pricing trends and prices at competitor companies.
