Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Supply Chain Operations and Process Manager will be responsible for leading supply chain/business process changes and strategic projects to align with and help deliver business operation needs. This position will manage the development/reporting for critical supply chain processes related to sales and operations (S&OP) and monthly operations review (MOR) requirements - Along with operating/control plans for to the North America (NA) Consumer PBU (product business unit) S&OP process. The incumbent will identify/implement process improvement opportunities/enhancements. 

 

In addition to managing the monthly S&OP process and deliverables, he/she will support the annual supply chain portions of the requirement versus capacity and capability (RvsCC) and annual operating plan (AOP) processes - Along with all other operational activities.

 

This role will lead strategic projects that help to deliver the PBU business objectives. This can span process improvements, lean initiatives, cost savings and identifying revenue/margin opportunities.

 

The associate will help identify reporting/metric opportunities that will bring visibility to key metrics related to demand, supply, inventory, customer service, sales and production trends, etc. that help the business drive to their results and make the information easily accessible.     

 

Principle duties and responsibilities:
•    Lead strategic initiatives and process improvement using focus improvement tools/methodologies. Project involvement can be long/short-term - Focusing on driving efficiencies, cost savings, maximizing margins, growing revenues or ensuring business processes are easier to execute. Will work closely with Sales Enablement, Manufacturing, Sales and senior leadership on key projects.  

•    Develop key relationships with NA Supply Chain, PBU representatives and Americas Business Process Excellence (BPE), Global Supply Chain and Finance teams. Lead key monthly processes related to the S&OP/MOR: - Drive activities/updates and ensure data integrity and accuracy

- Highlight, understand and summarize key business changes to the Vice President, Director Supply Chain and supporting Directors across Finance, Manufacturing, Category, Sales, etc.
•    Coordinate regional RvsCC/AOP processes (and all other operational activities) by supporting Supply Chain teams through data analysis, understanding of strategic initiatives and business plans to align/drive supporting operational activities and identifying/implementing process improvement opportunities. Additionally, be a liaison with completing the regional components for the final deck.  

 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree.

 

Experience:
•    7 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or related area
•    Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
•    Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint 
•    Cognos, Hyperion, Tableau, SAP (AP0/DP/MRP) experience 
•    Strong background with Supply Planning, Demand Planning processes

•    Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt/manage change
•    Effective stakeholder engagement and interpersonal/communication skills - Build strong relationships within/across the organization
•    Ability to influence stakeholders without direct responsibility
•    Ability to stay organized/composed under pressure - Deadline and continuous improvement focused.
