Assistant Manager-Utilities

 

Reporting to the Manager-Utilities, this position has accountable for the legal compliance for Boiler as a boiler proficient engineering, with leading the role for compelling the business plan and programs in business centers of Goodyear Aurangabad Factory. This includes maintaining boiler, Hoist, MHAD, Chiller, Vacuum pump and Cooling tower availability all time with monitoring progress against established targets and objectives to achieve the AOP business needs.

    Partnering with the floor leadership to create change and define solutions that are in the best interest of the overall business strategy and objectives, within company defined standards.
    Providing guidance and training  to Utility team and ensuring the appropriate skills and competencies are identified and developed to meet business objectives. 
    Ensuring compliance with applicable  laws and regulations including Goodyear operating requirements. 
Adhering to PM Plan and Legal compliance.

Utility Operation Management:
    Monitor Operation and Maintenance of Utilities.
    Responsibility of Layered Process Audit.
    Ensuring the day to day jobs & linkage to the environment & impact on environment.
    Plan Day to day Maintenance activities for Fitters in shifts. And guide them technically whenever required.
    Raise Indents (Shopping cart)  for Material Required for day to day Operations and Maintenance.
    Execute PM for Utilities machine.
    Optimise Process performance
    Ensure collection of exact performance data and compare accuracy like generation of steam, Condensate recovery, Water Consumption, Compressed Air Usages and Electricity usage.
    Monitor and improve Efficiency of Air Compressor, Refrigeration Plant, Boiler, DHU and Vaccum Pumps.
    Control the expenditures of maintenance, raw materials and utilities account and ensuring they are within budget
    Implementation of PO in his function with support from Utility Manager
    Conducting periodical site safety round & report the findings for corrective actions with time bound closure.
    Leading the hazard identification & risk assessment, aspect impact & EHS activities in his perticular Business Centre
    Leading the ISO14001 & PO-PEC pillar activities in the business centre
    Conducting periodical mockdrills & complete evacuation drill for plant
    Conducting specialized EHS training in Co-ordination with training department
    Build EHS culture in organization
    Organizing EHS promotional activities in the business centers
    Carryout safety audits, tool box talk, GEMBA 
    Preparing MIS report for the particular business centre pertaining to EHS
    Preparing & updating EHS annual plan
    Ensure Environmental spillage to be control, waste minimization and reduce recycle reuse
    Ensure OCPs and awareness about OCPs at shop floor
    Assist BC to develop the enviornmental Aspect & Impacts and monitoring plan for significant aspects and impacts
    Implement Emergency response & fire prevention system in plant
    Implement & execute waste management plan
    Supporting in managing chemical safety program to users in plant
Govt Compliance:

Ensure 100% legal and Statutory compliances -like Boiler annual inspection, Pressure vessel testing, Peso, Ash disposal as per CPCB.
Ensure statutory compliance in terms of EHS pertaining to business centre
