Serves as first point of contact for suppliers related to category of spend. Supports Procurement Operations Leads with strategic supplier relationships through data-driven recommendations. At their level, ensures appropriate collaborative communication is occurring between strategic sourcing teams and shared services transactional teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with local procurement operations leadership to execute strategy at the regional/local level.
- Carry out daily order processing.
- Monitor all open Purchase orders.
- Partners with local stakeholders to understand their requirement to provide solutions for purchase / sourcing.
- Negotiation with qualify vendors.
- Manage relationships with all stakeholders and vendors.
- Responsible for feedback and process improvement for all e-sourcing activities or sourcing activities.
- Accountable for compliance management.
- Accountable for all internal and external audit preparation and feedback. Follow up all the closure activities for audit findings.
- Supports Commercial Council through appropriate communication channels (informing and requesting feedback).
- Accountable for meeting aspirational training goals for 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and Enhanced Sourcing Tools.
- Attend all internal required training from time to time.
- Serves as first point of contact for suppliers related to indirects category of spend.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in a corporate setting required. Prior experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related Operational function preferred.
- Experience in end to end procurement functions.
- Experience in Indirects spending sourcing process.
- Expreience in SAP / SRM
- Fundamental knowledge of business processes.
- Organization skills, skills in database programs, team-player, strong communication skills, self-motivating
- Skills desired: Strong financial/statistical analysis, foreign language, manufacturing processes, mathematical modeling, international experience, purchasing & technical experience
- Experience in Microsoft words, Exel, power points
