Credit & Collection Analyst

Primary Purpose of the Position:
Manage the customer credit risk profile by performing assessment of credit applications within the credit and collection policies to ensure the identification of risk, monitor customer performance and payment behavior.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor customer credit limits by analyzing key information and reports to make strategic and tactical credit decisions.
• Close monitor to customer financial situation.
• Release orders in SAP
• Close management of the collection, considering customer portfolio management, account analysis and past due balances identification.
• Customer negotiations and visits.
• Implement action plans to avoid past due.
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with the collection strategy.
• Identify and track large accounts that have been deemed delinquent.
• Review quarterly bad debt process.
• Assist with legal actions pertaining to Past dues accounts.
• Accounts receivables & Collection forecast (variance analysis).
• Prepare local and regional monthly reports.
• Reconciliate customer accounts and ensuring timely collections of receivables.
• Leads the credit committee and participate in all meetings that Credit area is needed.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Work with integrity and avoid audit finding by following Local, Regional & Global policies.
Educations and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration, Industrial Engineer, economical or related careers
• 1+ years’ experience in Credit and Collection.
• Experience in credit assessment and financial statement analysis.
• Good understanding of financial and credit ratios and ability to interpret.
• Experience implementing credit/collections financial solutions is a plus.
• Experience in Risk & past due management.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and ERP: SAP
• English / Spanish required.
