Senior Analyst Finance Manufacturing - German Speaker

Reporting to the Finance Manger – Factory the successful candidate will be responsible for the following key objectives:
- Perform month end adjustments and closing activities accurately and timeously
- Assimilate information and understand key business drivers.
- Summarize and communicate financial and operating results against objectives. Provide qualitative analysis including variance analysis to production teams and plant leadership.
- Support in preparation of realistic and challenging financial objectives, budgets, and strategic plans for the plant with a high level of financial forecast accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes as well as adherence to established corporate policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Support Loss analysis, FI pillar and plant optimization analytics.
- Participate in special projects, working capital saving initiatives, involved in CPEM calculations, support actively the cost center planning process.
- Coordination and valuation of year end stock counts and WIP valuation.
- Provide support to controlling team and external auditors.
- Plant waste reporting and forecasting.
To Join Our Team You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analytical skills, factory accounting and clear business acumen.
- Ability to analyze and providing explanations on the financial results and forecasting.
- A comprehensive understanding of Goodyear's product, policies, business practices and support structure.
- Exposure to a wide variety of finance/business practices in several different areas.
- PC literacy – Sound computer skills in Excel & Power-point. (SAP experience advantageous)
- Strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (SAP preferred)
- Have the ability to analyze data.
- Strong Problem-solving skills and mentality
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Team player and able to interact with different levels of management
- Open minded and pro-active
- High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities
- Strong communication skills with an ability to listen
