About the Position:
This position is responsible for support on projects by learning Goodyear systems & projects in cooperation with more experienced personnel. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work assigned tasks & exhibits an entry level of knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply technical solutions to meet product requirements.  

• Learn and apply current technology and standards. 

• Consult with leadership on appropriate level of technology for application.  

• Work across teams to develop new technology.  

• Avoid inappropriate level or risk.

• Use appropriate processes within functional group.

• Document accomplished work following knowledge management standards.

• Learn and apply basic project management tools and techniques for successful completion of projects.

• Learn and apply fundamentals of the project closeout process.  

• Develop an understanding and apply new knowledge to resolve conflicts in projects.

Education:
Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering required.

Experience:

• 1-3 years experience required.

• Learn and apply new skills from knowledge gained through additional education/experience/training.

• Learn functional relationship of assigned organization.

• Develop awareness and pursuit of experiences on cross-functional assignments, projects, plant assignments, and other divisional positions available for self development.

Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrate a positive attitude.  

• Actively participate in meetings, in a supporing role.  

• Initiate open dialogue with peers and leadership on areas of concern.  

• Select best means of communication. 

• Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within the function, both written and oral.
