This role is the HR Business Partner to the leadership team and managers for the Goodyear Technology Center in India. The position will work collaboratively with other functional leaders and managers within the support functions who are the direct managers for the facility and can be located at other Goodyear facilities. This position shall be the trusted advisor, counselor, business partner, and solution driver to the leaders of the Center. Using well-developed listening and coaching skills, discover the best solutions and partner to drive a well-thought-out plan.
Job Responsibilities:

You will partner with the Global and Regional HR teams to coordinate key initiatives/programs across the Center to ensure alignment with the overall organization and the other Goodyear Business Services Centers. Manage platforms aimed at maintaining consistency in the associate experience and supporting people managers.

You will provide advice/counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure that employee relations issues are properly identified/reported and thoroughly investigated/resolved.

You will design, develop, and execute continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness. This includes continuous improvement of end-to-end Goodyear HR processes and programs and those that are facility and function-specific.

You will work collaboratively with the COEs and other specialist areas of HR, and build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business. Utilize data from talent reviews and other sources to assess and address functional talent development needs, including succession planning, talent acquisition, organization design, diversity, retention, and tracking of talent development actions. Develop programs and processes to assess and address these areas, including change management and after-action review.

You will drive and manage key HR processes for the Center including talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, development/promotions processes, workforce planning pulse survey results management, and engagement action planning process. Partner with the business to optimize talent strategies, staffing levels, and employee engagement. Implement/Manage diversity and inclusion-related programs/initiatives.
Job Qualifications:

12 or more years experience as an HR generalist/manager

Expertise in managing employment framework, compensation, and benefits models (India location)

Proven track record in independently leading HR functions, site setup, and ongoing HR management.

Experience in setting up / leading or working in a Global Capability Center is a plus

Previous experience in setting up India employment law operating models (labor contracts, schedules, disciplinary rules, etc.).

Experience working in a Talent Management/Organizational Effectiveness capacity - Facilitating change initiatives
