Primary Purpose of the Position
This role exists to
Strategically drive the commercial capability (e.g. Sales, Pricing, Product Planning, Branding, Insights & Analytics) building agenda within the APAC region, ensuring alignment with the APAC 1-2-3 goals.
Provide thought-leadership to country sales capability teams and other relevant stakeholders, guiding the cultivation of exemplary behaviors and the elevation of collective competence.
Lead the implementation of development assessments, crafting and delivering development offerings that adhere to the Competency Framework under the Goodyear Growth Academy umbrella.
Foster cross-functional collaboration, leveraging Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across different areas to uphold the Great Framework and ensure sustainable implementation.
Build trust relations with business leaders to ensure their buy-in and commitment in driving continuous capability building.

Strategic Planning
Define and execute a commercial capability-building strategy across key areas, including Sales, Pricing, Product Planning, Branding, and Insights & Analytics, ensuring alignment with regional business priorities.
Lead the planning and execution of capability-building activities, ensuring effective delivery and measurable impact on commercial performance.

Thought Leadership & Best Practices
Act as a trusted advisor to country sales capability teams and business leaders, driving the adoption of best practices in capability building.
Establish a systematic approach to enhance team and organizational commercial competencies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Assessment Tools & Development Programs
Lead the design and implementation of competency assessment tools to identify skill gaps and development needs.
Develop and implement learning and development initiatives under the Goodyear Growth Academy framework, ensuring alignment with the Competency Framework and critical capability priorities.
Integrate competency assessments and development activities within the employee lifecycle, ensuring sustainable and impactful career growth.

Budget Management & Resource Optimization
Prudently manage development funds, ensuring optimal allocation toward impactful learning material creation and updates.
Establish partnerships with external development providers as needed to complement internal capabilities.
Oversee the Growth Academy APAC budget, including budget planning, expenditure approval, and monitoring.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
Implement robust mechanisms to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to development effectiveness and capability advancement.
Synthesize development data into comprehensive monthly reports that provide insights and recommendations to management, fostering informed decision-making.
Education & Certifications

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Marketing, or a related field.
Desired
A Master’s degree or professional certification in Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, or Leadership Development is a plus.
Experience
Describe previous experience required, including years – experience can include types of work, types of environments or situations
10+ years of experience in capability development, learning & development, sales enablement, or commercial excellence within a multinational organization.
Proven track record of designing and implementing development programs, competency frameworks, and assessment tools in a commercial or sales-driven environment.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders at a regional or global level.
Strong background in budget management, ensuring effective allocation of resources for capability-building initiatives.
Experience in leveraging digital learning platforms, tools, and external training providers to enhance development offerings.
