Compounder Senior - PLO Design Optimization

This position will be responsible to optimize material related complexity and cost in the Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities
Identify via Rv4C and AOP processes the compounds and treatments coming into AP plants through new product engine, manage ins appropriately and escalate deviations from plan 
Identify opportunities to remove compounds and treatments and lead execution of planned removals
Lead regional activities for project ideation and aid continuous project generation at plant and regional level
Follow the GY change management process to enhance performance/cost/quality of in-line production tires and/or compounds
Regular communication with the plant and regional quality teams to ensure information and projects are kept on track and up to date

Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field
6 or more years of experience in understanding structure/property relationships in materials
Familiarity with polymers, fillers and/or reinforced composites
Proficiency in the statistical design and analysis of experimental data
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams
Strong communication and English language skills, 
Experience working with Asia Pacific plants
Able to drive cross functional projects
